Meals

Each day patients are given the opportunity to select a meal choice from a menu. If a visitor would like to eat with a patient, guest trays are available for a nominal fee. There also are several other dining options for visitors.

On occasion, tests and procedures ordered by the doctor may require that meals be delayed. A nurse will notify the Nutrition Services department when meals may be resumed.

If the doctor prescribes a modified diet for a patient, a registered dietitian will assess the patient's nutritional needs and explain the modified diet.
